The Department of Economic Development and Tourism together with Cape Agulhas Municipality – Tourism promotion and Economic Development will be continuing with the CATHSSETA Customer Services Training Programme in the Western Cape in the 2019/2020 financial year. The Customer Services Training Programme responds to the need that customer service needs to be matched and sustained to global standards. This project tries to alleviate the inconsistent service levels within the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. This project will focus on the current workforce in the Industry.
This programme is a 7-day training programme but will be rolled out as follows: respectively in a period of three weeks (2 days in week 1 and 2 days in week 2 and 3 days in week 3). The reason being we are aware that employees being away from their workplaces would be intruding on their operations in the workplace, hence the decision for the three weeks.
The programme will run over a 7 day training schedule and the dates for the Cape Agulhas region will take place during:
17-18 July 2019 (2 days) - Week 1
24-25 July 2019 (2 days) - Week 2
5-7 August 2019 (3 days) - Week 3
There is no costs involved and we would like all role-players to nominate at least 2 or 3 people that can participate in the training as this will be very beneficial to your organisation. If it’s possible that you could please send me names by Wednesday, 10 July 2019.
