REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Secretarial / Administrative diploma
  • At least 2 years appropriate experience in a local government secretarial environment
  • Excellent computer skills (Ms Office)
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills in at least 2 of the following three official Western Cape languages: Afrikaans, English and Xhosa

 

 

DUTIES:

  • Office administration and secretarial support to the Director: Community Services
  • Drafting of reports and general correspondence
  • General typing duties
  • Reception and client services with regards to the community services office
  • Reservations of certain community facilities
  • Handling of on-line complaint system

  • Handling of good interpersonal relations
